RCVS congratulates VN for MBE

The RCVS has congratulated a VN who was made an MBE within the New 12 months’s Honours.

RVN Hayley Walters – a welfare and anaesthesia nurse on the College of Edinburgh’s Jeanne Marchig Worldwide Centre for Animal Welfare Schooling – was awarded the MBE for providers to veterinary training and animal welfare.

Miss Walters, who has additionally written for VN Instances, was beforehand the recipient of the RCVS’ Golden Jubilee Award in 2014 for her instructing, scientific and worldwide outreach work.


VN council chairman Liz Cox stated: “It’s great to see Hayley as soon as once more so publicly honoured for her dedication to educating pupil vets and VNs at The College of Edinburgh, and to serving to animals within the UK and internationally – each by her day job and her voluntary work.
